Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez and William Scull held the traditional “Grand Arrivals” at Boulevard Studios in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, ahead of their fight in a few days. The Mexican expressed that he is treated like a king.
“I feel very happy; they treated me like a king. I am very grateful; it’s a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to fight outside the United States and Mexico,” he commented.
Álvarez arrived at the event wearing a black outfit with white trim, Bermuda shorts, black socks, and tennis shoes. He also wore black sunglasses.
‘CANELO’, PROUD TO OPENING DOORS FOR MEXICANS
In his first fight in the Middle East, Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez said he was very happy and proud to open the door to other Mexican boxers.
“I’m very happy to open the fight to other boxers, to open the door in this way.
I feel very proud,” he declared.
When asked how he wanted to close this chapter, the WBC, WBO, and WBA super middleweight champion concluded with a traditional cheer.
