The Los Dilan criminal group, which operates in the southern part of the city, is implicated in the investigations into the double homicide of close associates of the Head of Government, Ximena Guzmán and José Muñoz, according to reports from the Investigative Police of the Attorney General’s Office.

This group operates primarily in the Xochimilco borough and in the State of Mexico, and has been the target of multiple raids on properties connected to its criminal activities. The reports consulted indicate that this group allegedly has ties to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel and that they acted as key operators in the crime.

Los Dilan is led by a man identified as Dilan, who has already been arrested by authorities for the murder of Clara Brugada’s two aides. One of the case files, CI-FIXOC/UAT-XO-2/UI-1 S/D/02926/08-2025, led authorities to raid a property last year located at 19 Quinos Alley, in the San Marcos Norte neighborhood of Xochimilco, where Dilan operated.

The information consulted indicates that this individual was hired to carry out the double homicide that occurred on May 20th, and he mobilized his criminal group to perform the attack.

Two brothers participated in the operation, one of whom was identified as Samuel. Samuel was murdered in the state of Morelos for making mistakes that led to the identification of the criminal cell. This murder occurred just three months after the homicide, according to reports. To date, 18 people have been arrested in connection with the case.
