His presence has not only generated endless lines for photos, but also a wave of viral videos thanks to his unexpected ability to communicate in Spanish with Spanish-speaking visitors.
On social media, especially TikTok, numerous clips show the famous green character spontaneously interacting with Latino tourists, cracking jokes, scolding them, and making comments that quickly went viral. In one of the most shared videos, he tells a visitor she’s ugly.
In another clip, he scolds a woman for arriving without bringing him any typical Mexican food. Laughing, he chides her: “Why didn’t you bring me anything? You didn’t bring me a tamale, pozole, menudo, you didn’t bring me anything!”
