Suspected killer of Rubí Patricia, a mother searching for her missing loved ones, arrested in Mazatlán, Sinaloa

The suspected killer of Rubí Patricia “N,” a 38-year-old activist whose body was found last weekend in a home in the Infonavit Jabalíes housing development in Mazatlán, was arrested by agents of the Sinaloa State Attorney General’s Office.

Authorities announced that investigative personnel and members of the Specialized Arrest Unit executed the arrest warrant for José Manuel “N,” 24, considered the alleged perpetrator of the activist’s murder.

Last Friday, Rubí Patricia, a member of the search collective “Corazones Unidos por la Misma Causa” (Hearts United for the Same Cause), was found dead inside her home, located on the second floor of the Infonavit Jabalíes housing development in Mazatlán. She had suffered stab wounds.

As a result of the open investigations and the investigative acts and intelligence work of the State Attorney General’s Office, the alleged perpetrator was identified as José Manuel “N”, 24 years old, and an arrest warrant issued by a judge was executed against him.
