Nicole Pardo Molina, known on social media as “La Nicholette,” reappeared and broke her silence six months after being kidnapped, allegedly by Los Chapitos, in Culiacán, Sinaloa.
It was on Gusgri’s podcast that the influencer revealed details that had not been made public before: that she herself edited the video in which she appears incriminating herself using CapCut, that her captors consulted with a superior officer by phone about each question, and that she was released with 500 pesos for a taxi.
“They used me as a messenger to say, ‘Look, we’re not the bad guys,’” the young woman told Gusgri’s podcast. The Sinaloa State Attorney General’s Office never validated the content of that video nor officially attributed the kidnapping to any criminal faction.
The kidnapping on January 20, 2026, didn’t come without warning. Pardo Molina told Gusgri that about a month earlier, a man wearing a helmet entered her coffee shop in Culiacán, took pictures, and leaned over the balcony, gesturing outside.
“It gave me a really bad feeling,” she said. That day, she closed the shop immediately, asked her friend to take her in an Uber, and left herself through the back door toward her ranch in El Salado. After that incident, she reduced her visits to the shop, but didn’t close it permanently.
