The woman, originally from Michoacán, was wanted on an arrest warrant for her alleged involvement in the crime of enforced disappearance, related to events that occurred on December 28, 2025.

The events unfolded when mothers searching for their missing loved ones went to the housing development to post photographs of their disappeared relatives. Neighbors reported that the woman identified as responsible for several abductions lived in one of the gated communities in the area.

The mothers, initially without police accompaniment, went to the house to confront the suspect. “La Tía” (The Aunt) claimed to know one of the missing young men and promised one of the mothers that she would contact her if she obtained any information; she even hugged her.
