In Culiacán, Elota, and Cosalá, the Interinstitutional Group seized 14 chemical concentration areas and 3 inactive drug manufacturing laboratories, authorities reported. Culiacán Housing

Mexican Army personnel, conducting ground reconnaissance, located the areas and laboratories in the towns of Estancia de los García, Carboneras, Presa Sanalona, ​​Las Parotas, La Cañada, San Román, and El Carrizal, in the municipality of Culiacán, as well as in the community of Portezuelo de Arriba, in the municipality of Elota, in addition to the towns of San José de las Bocas, Rincón de Ibonia, Agua Caliente, San Miguel de las Mesas, Chapala, and Los Cedritos, in the municipality of Cosalá.

The following items were found and seized at these locations:

• 3,000 liters of toluene.

• 495 liters of ethyl alcohol.

• 100 liters of sulfur 90.

• 1,950 liters of hydrochloric acid.

• 20 liters of iodine.

• 20 liters of benzyl alcohol.

• 275 liters of acid.

• 992.5 liters of an unknown chemical precursor.

• 80 kilos of caustic soda.

• 6 reactors.

• 1 condenser.

• 155 drums.

• 27 drums.

• 6 vats.

• 3 containers.

• 10 gallons.

• 21 pewter pots.

• 1 water tank.

• 1 bucket.

• 5 pails.

• 5 burners.

• 4 hoses.

• 1 cooler.

• 3 rods.

• 2 funnels.

• 2 ladles.

• 3 pairs of gloves.

All chemicals and utensils were handed over to the Attorney General’s Office and duly destroyed.
