Omar Bravo, a former Chivas de Guadalajara player, allegedly abused a minor since she was 10 years old in her own home, according to the complainant’s attorney, Juan Soltero.

“He tells us this had been going on for six or seven years. This touching occurred under her clothes, without reaching sexual intercourse,” the defense said in an interview with the program Primer Impacto.

Until a few days ago, the former Mexican national team player was the romantic partner of the victim’s mother. The abuse against the minor, who is currently 17 years old, allegedly continued for years, according to the defense.

The defense maintains it has solid evidence, such as a video captured by the minor herself, against Bravo.

The “touching (was carried out) on the minor for erotic-sexual purposes by the perpetrator, now charged.”

“In part of the video, you can see audio, the audio, the voice, and (in) a non-explicit part, but images are seen that are sufficiently probative.”

“I’m going to visit you in your room right now”: These are the messages Bravo allegedly sent

The victim managed to take at least 42 screenshots where the interaction and approach the former soccer player allegedly had with her can be observed.

“Every time this subject (Omar Bravo) proposed or said to her ‘I’m going to visit you in your room right now,’ ‘come over here,’ ‘come on, do it,’ or ‘come here,’ (…) she later made him delete (the messages), but she took screenshots,” said the victim’s lawyer.

“The minor has a conversation with her boyfriend and confesses what she was experiencing. It was her boyfriend who told her, ‘You have to talk to your mother about this.'”
