The news of Camilo Ochoa’s murder on August 16 in Temixco, Morelos, has generated widespread reactions amid the ongoing war between Los Chapitos and La Mayiza. One of the pieces of content that garnered the most attention following the crime was the video published this Monday by the YouTube channel Ocran Leaks, a platform with which Ochoa had had an open confrontation in his final months.
Ocran Leaks’ reaction to the death of the Sinaloa-born creator quickly went viral, with the clip already racking up more than 70,000 views in the first six hours after its publication.
In the barely five-minute video, Ocran Leaks began by stating: “He had to report on many resignations (murders) and arrests and laugh at these events. Now it’s his turn to be the news.”
The influencer was presented as someone known for appearing in interviews with content creators such as Gusgri, Gafe 423, and Adela Micha, but his speech was described in Ocran Leaks as a “pack of lies” that allegedly served to consolidate his personal brand.
The content creator claimed that approximately “20%” of the stories told by Ochoa were true, arguing that the influencer knew names and details of the criminal community, but always sought to portray himself and those around him in a favorable light.
