Natanael Cano Investigated for Allegedly Singing at a Party Inside a Hermosillo Prison

Singer Natanael Cano is being investigated for allegedly hosting a party inside the Social Reintegration Center (Cereso) in Hermosillo.

The Sonora Public Security Secretariat reported that, following the publication of a video on social media, the authenticity of the recording is being investigated.

Sonora Prosecutor Gustavo Salas also stated that they are verifying the authenticity of the video and preparing the corresponding complaints.

In the recording, circulating on social media, the singer is seen playing the guitar and singing, accompanied by an accordion player, while several men smoke and drink beer around him.

According to social media users, the video is believed to have been taken in early 2025, during a birthday party for a man incarcerated in the Hermosillo Prison, allegedly a friend of the singer, who is currently in prison for sexual offenses.
