More than 900 kilograms of methamphetamine hydrochloride, known on the market as crystal meth, were seized by the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) while being transported by four men identified as David “N”, Manuel “N”, Aldo “N”, and Erick “N”.
The drugs and the traffickers were apprehended by members of the National Defense Secretariat (SEDENA) while patrolling Tecate, Baja California. They observed a pickup truck traveling the wrong way and, after inspecting the vehicle, found a total of 31 boxes and nine backpacks in the truck bed and inside the vehicle, containing a total weight of 969.75 kilograms of crystal meth.
The drugs and the traffickers were apprehended by members of the National Defense Secretariat (SEDENA) while patrolling Tecate, Baja California. It was reported that the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPF), attached to the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime (FEMDO), provided sufficient evidence to obtain the indictment for his probable participation in a crime against health in the form of transporting methamphetamine hydrochloride, imposing the precautionary measure of mandatory preventive detention, and a three-month term for the complementary investigation.
