“Narco Barbie” Dies in Tragic Car Accident; This Is Her Life of Luxury, Crime, and Glamour

Chilean drug trafficker Karen Soto, better known as “Narco Barbie,” died on the morning of Tuesday, August 12, in a spectacular car accident. Her two children also died and the two crew members of the other vehicle involved were injured. The news has sparked all kinds of reactions on digital platforms, where hundreds of internet users have expressed interest in learning about the life of the glamorous criminal.

According to information released by the Traffic Accident Investigation Section (SIAT) of the Chilean Carabineros (Carabineros), the accident that killed “La Barbie Narco” occurred around 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12, on Route V-200, which connects the city of Frutillar with Tegualda in the Los Lagos Region in southern Chile. As far as is known, two vehicles were involved in a spectacular head-on collision.

Chilean authorities reported that Karen Alejandra Soto Mancilla, “La Barbie Narco,” was traveling in one of the vehicles. She died immediately, along with her sons, Bayron Marías Arcos Soto (18) and Ramce Reinar Mancilla Soto (4). They were taken to a hospital in Puerto Montt. However, due to their serious injuries, they died hours later. It was also reported that the two people traveling in the second vehicle involved were also hospitalized and are in serious condition.

The exact cause of the fatal head-on collision is still unknown. However, at the direction of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, personnel from the Traffic Accident Investigation Section (SIAT) of the Chilean Carabineros are already conducting the corresponding investigations to determine the dynamics and underlying cause of the fatal road accident in order to determine responsibility.
