Relatives of a man identified as Óscar Sergio Vivanco Romano reported his disappearance to the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE).
The victim became known on social media for his constant criticism of the Uruapan municipal government, specifically targeting the late mayor, Carlos Manzo.
On November 10, the institution issued a missing person alert for Óscar Sergio, 50 years old, who, according to the description of events, was last seen on November 8, 2025, at approximately 1:50 p.m., on the Ziracuaretiro-Caracha highway in Michoacán.
On his social media accounts, Vivanco Romano frequently uploaded videos criticizing the actions of the authorities and Carlos Manzo as mayor of Uruapan.
In one of the posts, he even issued a threat against councilman Víctor Hugo de la Cruz, known as “Víctor Saladitas,” who was injured during the attack on the murdered mayor. Other posts he shared on his Facebook account include videos of confrontations, and another is related to esoteric practices.
The Michoacán Attorney General’s Office detailed that Óscar Sergio is 1.70 meters tall, weighs 112 kilograms, has a robust build and fair complexion; he has a round face, a broad forehead, shaved head, medium-sized brown eyes, and slightly arched eyebrows.
Among his distinguishing features are scars on his abdomen and both legs, as well as tattoos on his hands: on the right, the image of Anubis, and on the left, a skull along with the names “Lucía, Óscar, Charly, and Nicole.”
On the day of his disappearance, he was wearing gray and black sweatpants, a navy blue t-shirt with navy blue lettering and the number 22, and navy blue sandals.
The Attorney General’s Office requests the public’s support in providing any information that may help locate him.
