The Puebla State Attorney General’s Office reported this Saturday, April 11, that investigative agents—accompanied by federal and state forces—successfully dismantled a gang identified as “Los Ingobernables,” which was dedicated to drug sales and street robbery in the eastern part of the state capital.
The operation was carried out on April 10 following a series of anonymous tips and intelligence surveillance, which pointed to a property located in the El Porvenir neighborhood; according to official records, this property was being used as a distribution hub and storage facility for illicit substances.
During the intervention, authorities seized 56 doses of crack—also known as “piedra”—12 doses of cocaine, 30 doses of crystal methamphetamine, and 35 doses of heroin, in addition to a bag containing dried plant matter resembling marijuana and two scales allegedly used for weighing drugs.
