Members of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM), in coordination with Interpol, the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR), and the Attorney General’s Office of Quintana Roo, arrested Alejandro ‘N’, alias “Lord Pádel,” along with Othón ‘N’, Karla Alejandra ‘N’, and Germán ‘N’ at Cancún International Airport. They are identified as alleged perpetrators of the crime of attempted homicide.

According to an information sheet issued by the FGJEM, during the arrest, the suspects presented a copy of an alleged injunction against the arrest warrant.

However, authorities stated that there was no official notification proving the suspension, so the injunction was ineffective, and they proceeded to arrest them.

Following their capture, the four detainees were taken into custody and will be transferred to the corresponding ministerial headquarters in the State of Mexico, where their legal status will be determined in the coming hours.

The operation was the result of intelligence work and inter-institutional collaboration that allowed the suspects to be located in Quintana Roo and arrested before they could evade justice.
