Raúl Rocha Cantú, co-owner of the Miss Universe Organization (MUO), is allegedly linked to a criminal organization involved in various crimes, including arms trafficking to criminal groups such as the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
Part of the investigation into the case was reported by the newspaper La Jornada, which obtained a copy of the court order that documents, among other actions, the smuggling of three tons of tobacco.
Furthermore, Rocha Cantú reportedly received a plea bargain and became a protected witness for the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) in order to provide important information about the criminal organization, according to journalist Gustavo Castillo.
