Los Titanes de Durango experienced an uncomfortable moment during one of their recent performances when someone in the audience threw a beer bottle that hit the lead singer directly in the face. The singer shared a video of the incident on social media, sparking outrage among fans and internet users who demanded respect for artists.
More and more singers are speaking out on social media, urging fans not to throw gifts and other objects at the stage during their performances due to the risk it poses to them, their crew, or those near the stage. Rosalía did so after being hit in the face with a doll, Maluma also made a plea to his audience after someone threw a crutch at him during one of his concerts, and now it happened to the lead singer of Los Titanes de Durango.
In a video posted on social media by Sergio Sánchez Ayón, lead singer of Los Titanes de Durango, he is seen being hit in the face with a beer bottle while performing the song “Agua de té.” The singer stopped his performance to confront the person responsible, but he was understanding and asked that they not remove him from the venue: “Honestly, no big deal, we have to forgive the jerk. If we’re creating the atmosphere, the chaos, then he’ll have to face the consequences (…) Just kidding, this one in the face is kind of hurting.”
