Agents from the Veracruz State Attorney General’s Office arrested Suhey “N”—alias “La Princess”—and two other men on Thursday, October 1. They are accused of the murder of Guillermo Pamucé Yep, the regional coordinator for the PAZ Party in the southern part of the state. The arrest took place eight days after the crime, which was committed on September 23 in a residential complex in Coatzacoalcos.
Pamucé Yep, better known as “El Chino Yep,” was 48 years old. He had assumed the role of state coordinator for the PAZ party after previously serving as a city councilor in Jáltipan during the prior municipal administration. The political organization—which recently received official recognition from the National Electoral Institute (INE)—described him as a key figure in its political project leading up to the 2027 elections.
“La Princess” was located via video surveillance and linked to “Grupo Sombra,” according to reports
Suhey “N” was arrested at a home in the Benito Juárez neighborhood of Coatzacoalcos when agents from the Attorney General’s Office executed an arrest warrant against her, according to local media reports. Authorities reportedly located her using the video surveillance system at the Veleros residential complex—the scene of the crime—and she had been a wanted person since the day the incident occurred.
The woman has been identified as an alleged member of a criminal group operating in the region, with possible involvement in other homicides in Coatzacoalcos. Following the arrest, the media outlet Latinus identified the cell as “Grupo Sombra,” a group involved in drug trafficking and extortion (specifically, the collection of protection money) in the area; the outlet also noted that the two men arrested alongside her are believed to belong to the same organization.
