During an operation carried out by state, federal, and military agents, Javier Gabriel Mora, alias “La Piruja,” was arrested in Mexicali, Baja California.
Authorities have identified him as an alleged high-ranking member of Los Rusos, the armed wing of the Los Mayos faction of the Sinaloa Cartel.
His arrest took place on Friday, December 19, during an operation involving members of the Baja California State Citizen Security Force (FESC), in coordination with the National Defense Secretariat (Defensa) and federal agencies.
“La Piruja” was identified as a priority target due to his suspected involvement in illicit activities within the criminal organization, which operates in Baja California and Sonora.
