Khaby Lame, the TikTok star of Senegalese origin and Italian nationality, was reportedly arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the state of Nevada, according to recent posts on the X platform.
With more than 162 million followers on the aforementioned social media platform, Lame has established himself as one of the most influential figures on the internet and was recently named a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
According to posts on X, the arrest was allegedly due to allegedly overstaying his visa and alleged tax evasion. It has been reported that Lame was taken to the Henderson detention center in Nevada, according to records from the official Department of Homeland Security (DHS) website.
However, it is important to emphasize that this information has not been confirmed by official sources. To date, ICE has not issued any statements or reports to support this information.
