San Francisco de Campeche.-Members of the Campeche Citizen Protection and Security Secretariat arrested César A.V., father of singer Julión Álvarez, along with three individuals.

A search and arrest were carried out during a patrol at the 18 de Marzo-Sabancuy intersection in the municipality of El Carmen, south of the state.

It was determined that César A.V.’s arrest took place at a temporary checkpoint on the federal highway, following a report of a white van carrying four armed men patrolling the area.

The anonymous report indicated that the vehicle had left a nearby ranch. Upon detecting the truck, officers stopped it for a search. They found a black Bereta 9MM pistol with three magazines and 18 live rounds. Two other firearms were also observed: a Taurus 9MM pistol, license plate ABK0523, with a black magazine loaded with 17 rounds, and a champagne-colored Pietro Bereta .380 caliber pistol with a black grip, license plate H70330Y, with two magazines loaded with 12 rounds each. Another firearm was carried on the waist of another occupant of the truck.

The detainees were taken to the FGR sub-delegation in Escárcega to be held for possession of firearms for the exclusive use of the Army and violation of the Federal Firearms and Explosives Law.

It has been revealed that the Secretary of Security, Marcela Muñoz Martínez, and the singer Julión Álvarez are friends, and the singer has even posted several photos of himself in Campeche on his social media.
