Last August, the invitation extended to Julio Urías by the Culiacán Tomateros Club to report to training caused a stir, generating optimism among fans about the left-handed pitcher’s possible return to professional baseball. Security cameras

However, the former Dodgers star did not participate in the spring training camp due to restrictions on leaving the United States, but rather because he doesn’t yet feel mentally ready to return to a baseball park after spending two years suspended by the Major Leagues due to domestic violence issues.

The Tomateros Club office revealed this situation to us, although it’s worth noting that they had a very harmonious conversation and Urías didn’t rule out pitching this winter or next with his hometown team, for which he would first seek to get in shape physically and mentally.

Julio has already served the suspension imposed by the MLB office, although it’s true that no team has signed him.

And although we all think his future lies in Japan at 29 years of age, only he will decide where he stands.
