A judge in the State of Mexico sentenced Víctor Eladio “N” to six years in prison on Wednesday for dispossession after his participation in the invasion of the home of Mariana “N,” daughter of Carlota “N,” in the municipality of Chalco, State of Mexico, on March 27, 2025, was proven.

The law firm Rubio Suárez announced the sentence against the defendant, who pleaded guilty to the aforementioned crime and even issued a public apology to Mariana “N,” in addition to promising not to commit similar crimes again.

“I, Víctor Eladio “N”, freely and voluntarily offer a public apology to Mariana Santana Alfaro for the events related to the illegal occupation of her property, conduct which I acknowledge constituted the crime of dispossession,” he admitted.

“I expressly acknowledge having participated, along with other individuals, in the illegal occupation of the property located in the Ex Hacienda de Guadalupe Housing Complex, in the municipality of Chalco, State of Mexico, on March 27, 2025, thereby affecting Mariana Santana Alfaro’s rights of possession and ownership,” the document reads.

Mariana “N” is the rightful owner of the Chalco home

For his part, former congressman and son of Carlota “N”, Arturo Santana, emphasized that the expedited procedure allowed for a swift and effective resolution of the criminal case. He also noted that the sentence legally confirms that Mariana “N” is the rightful owner of the property located in Chalco, a status that was certified by the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) in April 2025.

“I am pleased to inform you that today, in the public hearing at the corresponding court in Chalco, State of Mexico, within case number 508/2025, a guilty verdict was obtained against the detainee Víctor Eladio “N” for the crime of dispossessing my sister Mariana of her home. This was achieved through an expedited procedure previously requested by the public prosecutor of the section, resulting in a six-year sentence,” the former congressman reported.
