Influencer Jaime Toral was arrested in Puebla months after the Veracruz Attorney General’s Office offered a 350,000 peso reward for information leading to his capture.
The man, accused of human trafficking, went viral for filming Doña Lety and posting the videos on both Facebook and TikTok.
Although the State Attorney General’s Office has not yet issued a statement, the National Registry of Detentions indicates that Jaime Pascual Hernández Toral was arrested in front of a convenience store in downtown Zacapoaxtla, Puebla.
The arrest was carried out by the Municipal Police on 5 de Mayo Sur Street, between Mariano Arista and R. Palacio Streets, at approximately 3:35 pm on December 22.
Hours later, during the early morning of December 23, Jaime Toral was transferred to the Public Ministry facilities, specifically the C5 Metropolitan Public Security Complex.
