Juan Luis Cervantes Lazcano, better known on digital platforms as “J LU Barber,” was one of the survivors of the gas pipeline explosion that occurred last Wednesday, September 10, on the La Concordia Bridge in Iztapalapa. After two days in the hospital, the influencer reappeared on social media and shared new videos of the shocking tragedy that has shaken the entire Mexican population.
“J LU” is an engineer in Information and Communication Technologies, however, what he is known for on digital platforms is for his performance as a professional barber, an environment in which he is a highly recognized personality because in addition to managing an important chain of this type of establishments, he also has an academy where he teaches classes and as if that were not enough, he is also a speaker and his resume highlights having participated in the fifth season of SharkTank Mexico.
When the gas pipe exploded last Wednesday, September 10, “J LU” was driving along the upper part of the La Concordia bridge and according to his own statements, his unit was engulfed in flames and having the air conditioning on played against him because the fire began to enter through the vents and therefore he ended up with severe burns on his arms, which he exhibited in a live broadcast in which he assured that he came to believe he would die.
