U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is offering a $10 million reward for the capture of Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar, considered the leader of Los Chapitos, a faction of the Sinaloa Cartel.
Through its X account, the Border Patrol stated that Iván Archivaldo, along with his brothers Jesús Alfredo, Ovidio, and Joaquín (the latter two detained in the United States), “inherited the drug trafficking networks of their infamous father, Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán Loera.”
“Guzmán Salazar is a fugitive and must be considered armed and dangerous,” reads the post offering the $10 million reward for his capture.
ICE had already issued a reward bulletin for information leading to the whereabouts of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán’s son.
On August 16 of last year, on its official “Most Wanted” website, ICE included Guzmán Salazar’s photograph and physical description, as well as the contact number for Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), which citizens can call anonymously if they have information about his location.
