A driver of a gray MG pickup truck was accused of running over a Husky while driving on Reforma Avenue, heading toward Santa Fe, near the Auditorio Metro station, in the Miguel Hidalgo borough. The plaintiffs claim that the woman rammed the dog with her pickup truck and, despite repeated warnings, “finished him off” by reversing and leaving the dog under the car.

Daniela “N,” who was at the scene, remained on the avenue to demand justice in the absence of the owners. She claimed that the woman, approximately 35 years old, refused to take responsibility for the incident and even mocked the tragedy after letting the bloody Husky drag for at least 490 meters, as the young woman revealed in her photos on social media.

In an interview, she stated that the woman tried to flee, however, with the support of three women, identified as Agus, Gisela, and Guadalupe, who were on Reforma, they were able to restrain her until officers from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) and Red Cross paramedics arrived, who confirmed that the animal no longer had vital signs.

“The woman ran over the dog. We told her, but she didn’t stop. She ran over it for several meters, and although I ran to stop her, it wasn’t until other people stopped her that she tried to escape and laughed at her. It wasn’t until the police arrived that she changed her attitude. The police arrived, along with the Red Cross, and that was it.”
