Grupo Firme will perform for the first time in Acapulco on July 12th at the Arena GNP Seguros. This performance is part of La Ultima Peda Tour 2025.
Johnny Caz, Víctor Zavala, and Isael Gutiérrez, the group’s manager, accompanied by José Luis Alva Briceño, General Manager of Mundo VIP, announced the details of this performance.
“We are very happy to announce this date, starting at nine o’clock at night when the show begins. We don’t have an end time; you are the ones who will decide; it will be at least three hours; we always go over that time. We give our all at every show and enjoy it. Tickets are low, we’re 70% sold, and we’re sure we’ll be packed,” said Caz.
The group took a while to get to Acapulco because the pandemic hit, and they couldn’t manage to travel all the cities across the United States they visited; so they won’t be able to visit the port until now.
“The prices are affordable, and we focus on a top-notch production. We put on a great show, with a 360-degree central setup so everyone can enjoy themselves and get the best view. Surprises can always happen; there’s an elevator on the stage, and you never know who’s going to come out,” Gutiérrez added.
The repertoire includes songs that have become classics for the group, hits, and new songs from their upcoming album, Evolución, which will be available on all platforms on May 8.
“We’ve already released the songs “El beneficio de la dudas” and “Hubieran” because we wanted to give you a little preview. The album marks a new stage; the essence remains, but in a different way. We use other sounds and instruments, and there’s a more romantic side. There’s a collaboration with Carolina Ross and another with Gloria Trevi, which is a very important duet for me and my brother,” he said.
In this new album, Edwin Caz co-wrote several songs that show his maturity.
“This album is deeper. Eduin is expressing his feelings. You’ll realize it reflects an evolution in him and Grupo Firme in general. Musically and artistically, it captures all the emotions and moments of who they are,” Gutiérrez noted.
