A video went viral on social media, sparking controversy: Ángela Aguilar allegedly acted jealously toward Christian Nodal during a soccer game they both attended as guests.
The images caused a stir, as they show the singer in high spirits with other attendees, until Ángela arrives, supposedly changing the mood.
However, Fer Gay, a witness to the incident and host of the program La Caminera, offered his version and denied that it was a relationship conflict.
“This happened last week. I arrived at my semifinal match, went up to the box, and found Christian Nodal there. I greeted him, introduced myself, I didn’t know I was going (…) Christian was having a great time,” Fer Gay shared on his radio show.
The host recounted that they were having a lively conversation when Ángela Aguilar arrived, but he asserted that he didn’t perceive any tension between them.
“The three of us were just chatting away, and suddenly Ángela Aguilar arrived. The thing is, the video went super viral because everyone said she was apparently jealous of everything that was happening there because Christian Nodal was having a great time; I didn’t feel like there was anything,” he added.
Fer downplayed the speculation that arose on social media, asserting that it was all an exaggerated public perception:
“It made it much bigger than it is.” His partner, Tania Rincón, also expressed her annoyance at the media scandal: “Poor things, let them rest.”
