Armed individuals threw an explosive device into an event hall, injuring between five and ten people and prompting a police response to the scene.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the 4 de Marzo neighborhood, Villa Juárez district, Navolato, on the night of November 15, 2025.
According to local sources, attendees were celebrating at the hall located at the intersection of Fourth and Domingo Rubí streets when the assailants threw an explosive device from outside, causing panic among those present and resulting in minor injuries, primarily from shrapnel. Following the attack, police and rescue workers arrived at the scene after receiving a call through the 911 emergency line. The area was cordoned off to ensure safety and facilitate the work of the rescue teams, who transported the injured to a hospital for treatment.
The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) deployed forensic experts to conduct fieldwork and collect evidence at the event venue. Additionally, investigative police officers began the corresponding inquiries to clarify the facts and identify those responsible; so far, the type of device used and the motive behind the attack have not been determined.
