A total of 16 people, including ‘El Comandante,’ the alleged co-perpetrator of the murders of Colombian artists Bayron Sánchez Salazar, known as B-King, and Jorge Luis Herrera Lemos, known as DJ Regio Clown, whose bodies were found in the State of Mexico, have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the homicides.
According to journalist and host of the program C4 en Alerta, Carlos Jiménez, ‘El Comandante’ was identified as Cristopher ‘N,’ who allegedly posed as a government employee.
The TELEDIARIO journalist stated that the suspect was going to meet with the artists to discuss a business deal; however, B-King and Regio Clown were murdered.
Of those arrested, 10 are foreigners of Cuban, Venezuelan, Colombian, and Spanish origin, and are accused of being perpetrators or accomplices in one or more crimes.
According to investigations by the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM), the suspects are linked to a group involved in the distribution and sale of narcotics, particularly those known as “2-CB (Tusi)” and “Coco Channel.” The investigations also connect this activity to other crimes such as extortion, kidnapping, and extortion.
This is how “El Comandante” was arrested.
The arrest was made by personnel from the Attorney General’s Office (FGJ) of the State of Mexico, weeks after the deaths of these two individuals were documented.
The foreigners Jorge Herrera and Bayron Sánchez were last seen at a gym in Polanco, Mexico City, where it is presumed they were abducted.
On September 17, several bags containing human remains were found in the municipality of Cocotitlán, in the eastern part of the state.
Initially, the victims’ identities were not released; however, days later it was confirmed that they were the two Colombian musicians, after a match was found between the tattoos of one of them.
It should be noted that this investigation involved collaboration between the Attorney General’s Office, the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office, and the State of Mexico Attorney General’s Office, due to the circumstances surrounding the crime.
