César Alejandro Sepúlveda Arellano, known as “El Botox” and identified as the leader of Los Blancos de Troya, released a video in which he accuses business owners in the lime sector of paying unfair prices to producers in the Apatzingán Valley and addressed a message to Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum and Secretary of Public Security Omar García Harfuch.
In the video, Sepúlveda Arellano identifies himself and speaks directly to Claudia Sheinbaum and Omar García Harfuch, questioning whether the federal government is “to serve the people or to impoverish them.”
The criminal leader complains about the closure of a collection center in Chandio, Apatzingán, which he claims was the only place where producers received fair payment for their limes.
“Other industries want to pay two pesos, two cents. That’s no good for us, being paid like that,” says “El Botox” in the recording that quickly began circulating on social media.
