César Alejandro Sepúlveda Arellano, known as El Botox and identified as the alleged leader of Los Blancos de Troya, reappeared in a video circulated on social media with a message specifically directed at the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, and the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, Omar García Harfuch.
In the recording, he can be seen demanding the intervention of the federal government for the release of his wife and daughter after they were linked to the murder of lime grower leader Bernardo Bravo, as well as the regulation of lime prices in the Michoacán region and the direct accusations of Bravo’s murder.
What did he say?
In the video, Sepúlveda Arellano appears dressed in jeans, boots, and a padded jacket. This situation leads authorities to believe he may have left the Tierra Caliente region, considered his main stronghold.
In the recording, the Mexican government’s top target denies involvement in the murder of lime grower leader Bernardo Bravo and addresses a direct message to President Claudia Sheinbaum and Secretary of Security Omar García Harfuch.
During his statement, “El Botox” emphatically denied his participation in the crime that has shocked the state’s agricultural sector. “I didn’t kill Bernardo Bravo,” he asserted, breaking the silence he had maintained after being identified by state and federal authorities as the mastermind and perpetrator of the murder.
