Amid a wave of clashes in the Guadalupe y Calvo region of Chihuahua, unofficial sources and citizen reports indicate the death of “El 28,” identified as the leader of the armed wing “La Línea,” linked to the Juárez Cartel.
Residents of communities affected by the violence, such as El Tule, Mesa de la Cruz, El Baluarte, Tahonas, and El Pinito, indicated that he maintained control of illicit activities in the region.
The death of “El 28” reportedly occurred during the recent armed clashes, according to information circulating on social media.
Additionally, it is reported that, in the same clashes, two other individuals known by their names within the same criminal group were killed: “El 015” and “El 83.”
The State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE) confirmed the deaths of two people following a recent confrontation in the area.
However, the agency has not officially confirmed whether the criminal leader “El 28” is among the deceased, although an image of the slain man is already circulating on social media.
Authorities are withholding the identity of the victims while the corresponding investigations are carried out to clarify the events that occurred in the southern region of Chihuahua.
