Double blow in Sinaloa: Federal forces seize fentanyl, high-powered weapons, and ammunition in less than 48 hours

In less than 48 hours, federal and state forces carried out two operations in Concordia and Culiacán, Sinaloa, resulting in the seizure of high-powered weapons, ammunition, drugs, and tactical equipment, as well as the arrest of two men, one of them a minor.

These actions were part of the patrols and reconnaissance conducted by the Interinstitutional Group “Todos por Sinaloa” (All for Sinaloa), comprised of the Secretariat of National Defense (Defensa), the National Guard (GN), the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) of Sinaloa, the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), and the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE).

The first seizure occurred on October 31, 2025, in a wooded area of ​​El Zacate, where members of the Mexican Army were conducting ground reconnaissance. During the operation, military personnel located a cache of weapons and tactical equipment, including the following items:

645 rounds of ammunition

7 magazines

2 tactical vests

4 pairs of military-style uniforms

4 ballistic plates

According to the official report, the uniforms and vests were incinerated at the site, while the ammunition and ballistic plates were secured and turned over to the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) for the corresponding investigation.
