U.S. authorities reported the arrest in Mexico of a man identified as a member of the Sinaloa Cartel who is believed to be linked to cocaine trafficking. He is also linked to Gulf Cartel operations.
On October 6, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) reported the arrest of Jason Duncker, who was captured near Monterrey, Nuevo León, without specifying the exact location.
Duncker is identified as a facilitator and “dangerous” member of the so-called Pacific Cartel. He is accused of trafficking 75 kilograms of cocaine into the United States and distributing hundreds of thousands of dollars in proceeds from drug sales.
The individual was captured on October 2nd as a result of an interagency operation in which the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) provided intelligence to the Marshals Service.
NCTC Director Joe Kent shared an image of the captured individual through his X account.
“A member of the Sinaloa Cartel and affiliate of the Gulf Cartel, he repeatedly put the lives of Americans at risk by trafficking more than 75 kilograms of cocaine,” the official wrote.
