Christian Nodal has been actively participating in various media outlets, podcasts, and YouTube programs. The singer recently visited “Zona de desmadre” hosted by Mike Salazar.
There, Nodal performed excerpts from his songs and shared personal and professional details that have shaped his career. During his participation in that episode, one of the topics that caught the most attention was the collaboration he did five years ago with Ángela Aguilar for the song “Dime Cómo quieres.”
In this context, the Sonoran singer revealed previously unpublished details about the creation of the hit song, confessing that he had had feelings for Pepe Aguilar’s daughter since they met on an Aguilar family tour.
“I was in Miami with Edgar, putting together my album, and I told him I’m really looking forward to… remember Rocío Durcal’s song with Juan Gabriel (Déjame Vivir)? It seemed so funny to me when I was a kid, because it had that flirtatious quality,” he declared.
“It’s really bad for me to say that. I had shared time with the Aguilar family in ‘Jaripeo.’ So when I met Ángela, I said, ‘Wow, she’s incredibly talented.’ And I was 18, but she was much younger than me; she was about 13,” the singer confessed, also recalling how Ángela’s presence made him nervous during press conferences.
