After a successful career in Mexican music, Chiquis Rivera is now revealing a new facet of her professional life, having recently released a book with which she debuts as a children’s writer, a project inspired by her relationship with her mother, Jenni Rivera.

Chiquis Rivera presented her book “The Girl Who Sings to the Bees” on July 16th. With this publication, the celebrity reveals a part of her childhood through Janney, a little girl who helped her mother sing to the flowers so they would grow beautifully in her grandmother’s garden.

The book “The Girl Who Sings to the Bees” is available in English and Spanish. Chiquis Rivera emphasized that this is a great story that deserves to be told in multiple languages, making it ideal for children in Mexico, the United States, and other Latin American countries.

It’s a story inspired by my life about a girl who, after being rejected and hurt, learns to believe in herself… and about the eternal love between mother and daughter, even when the mother is no longer physically present. This book is a little piece of my heart, a love letter to my inner child… and to every boy and girl who needs to remember that they are worthy, that they are seen, and that they deserve pure love,” the celebrity says alongside a post on social media.

This isn’t the first time Chiquis Rivera has written a book. She is also a New York Times bestselling author of “Perdón” and “Invencible,” projects in which she talks about the death of her mother, her personal life, and also her foray into music, a legacy inherited from Jenni Rivera.

What does Chiquis Rivera’s book talk about?

In the book “La niña que le canta a las abejas,” illustrated by Geraldine Rodríguez, Chiquis Rivera shares a moving story inspired by her struggle to overcome bullying and self-doubt, and find strength in a mother’s eternal love, giving Janney the strength to overcome her fears and sing loudly.

“Janney and her mother always sang together to help the flowers in the garden bloom.” Grandma grew up. But now that her mom is gone, Janney’s song has become trapped deep inside her. “Bullying doesn’t help,” reads part of the description.
