U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem has issued a dire warning about the rising violence faced by immigration enforcement (ICE) agents in the country.

The U.S. official publicly denounced that drug cartels and gangs are offering rewards for the capture and killing of ICE agents.

In a statement to Fox News, Noem emphasized that this violence is not only a security issue, but also represents a direct attack on immigration enforcement in the United States.

Intelligence suggests that these criminal groups are organizing coordinated attacks against agents, posing an unprecedented risk to their safety.
Since the start of the Trump administration, an 830% increase in attacks on ICE agents has been documented.

The situation has been ongoing since January, when Trump resumed his aggressive approach toward undocumented migrants.

Noem emphasized that the violence is not just an isolated phenomenon, but is part of a broader strategy by cartels to destabilize law enforcement.
