BTS visited the National Palace alongside President Claudia Sheinbaum, drawing nearly 50,000 people to the grounds outside the venue during their return to the Mexican capital—almost ten years after their last visit.

RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook returned to Mexico City—this time with their “ARIRANG” tour—marking a reunion for the members following the completion of their mandatory military service in South Korea.

Prior to the first of their three concerts, the K-pop singers and dancers addressed the crowd from the presidential balcony:

“Thank you so much; we can’t wait to see you at the concerts. I love you! We missed you so, so much, Mexico. The energy here is incredible. Thank you so much for loving us so dearly,” they said in Spanish.
Mexico is set to host three concerts, beginning tomorrow—May 7th—followed by shows on the 8th and 9th at the GNP Seguros Stadium, where tickets sold out within just a few hours.
