In a video posted on social media, individuals who identified themselves as alleged members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) distanced themselves from recent allegations of extortion charges against fishing businesses in Ensenada.

In the recording, one of the men reads a statement denying the CJNG’s responsibility for the placement of the three narco-banners that recently appeared in the port. They also attributed the messages to the Sinaloa Cartel (CDS).

The video, which shows the alleged CJNG members, directly accuses the Arzate brothers of being behind the recent violent events in Ensenada. According to the statement read in the recording, there is a specific order to “remove from operation” Arturo Alejandro Medina, known as “El Tury,” who is identified as the main person responsible for extorting businessmen and merchants in the fishing sector of Ensenada, Baja California.
