Alejandro Correa, former mayor of Zinapécuaro, Michoacán, has disappeared.

The Michoacán State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) has issued an active search alert for Alejandro Correa Gómez, former mayor of Zinapécuaro, who was last seen in the early morning hours of November 2nd in Tierras Coloradas, in the municipality of Hidalgo.

According to the missing person report, file number 1139/2025, Alejandro Correa Gómez was born on March 31, 1984, and is currently 41 years old. At the time of his disappearance, he was of medium build, 1.78 meters tall, and weighed 85 kilograms. He has fair skin, a round face, a medium forehead, and short, straight, graying hair. His eyebrows are semi-arched and thick, and his eyes are medium-sized and brown.

Among the distinguishing features that may aid in his identification are a scar between his nose and right eyelid, as well as another above his right eyebrow.

Several tattoos stand out: one on his right forearm with the word “MAMÁ” (MOM), another on the same arm that reads “DO NOT FEAR BECAUSE I AM WITH YOU” (Isaiah 41:10), the image of a phoenix on his right hip, and the phrase “I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST” on his chest.

According to the Attorney General’s report, Correa Gómez was last seen around 2:00 a.m. in Tierras Coloradas, in the municipality of Hidalgo, and his whereabouts have been unknown since then.

Authorities warn that there are fears for her safety because she could be a victim of a crime, and invite citizens to collaborate with relevant information by calling 800 614 2323, as well as through their official channels and social networks (@FiscaliaMich and fiscaliamichoacan.gob.mx).
