Well, that’s what happened recently in Mexico City. An elderly woman requested help from someone to assist her in moving her disabled son. A situation that spiraled out of control if she was assaulted in her own home. We give you all the details.

How did it all happen?

Marta is a 77-year-old woman who lives in the Azcapotzalco district of Mexico City. On Monday, April 28, the grandmother was alone in her home with her disabled son, but she needed help to move her son.

Faced with this situation, Mrs. Marta decided to enlist the help of a young man who was passing by on his bicycle. She offered him a small reward for his assistance. The man agreed and entered the home to move her disabled son’s body.

Once the work was completed, the grandmother and the stranger went to the woman’s bedroom, where they engaged in a brief conversation. At approximately 7:26 p.m., surveillance videos show the attacker beginning to physically assault the woman, where he is seen choking her, throwing her onto the bed, and hitting her head.

The attacker then stole the woman’s belongings and fled on his bicycle. After the attack, Mrs. Marta had to crawl on the floor to get help. Shortly after, officers from the Citizen Security Secretariat arrived. When all this happened, the woman quickly filed a complaint with the authorities and the Mexico City Ministry. Her daughter, Alejandra, also quickly shared some images of the person who assaulted her mother, with the primary goal of helping the public identify the attacker.

At the moment, it is known that authorities have arrested the alleged attacker of the grandmother and her disabled son. However, the identity of the offender is unknown for now, but it is known that authorities are implementing the corresponding protocols.
