Federal and state forces are searching for the criminal leader known as Juan Manuel Valdovinos Mendoza “El Señor de los Caballos” in Chiapas, with no results so far.
Although they have not found El Señor de los Caballos, a key player in the logistics of drug trafficking to Central America and the Mexican Pacific, four hitmen and 56 municipal police officers colluding with organized crime have been arrested. Hitman self-defense courses
A ranch, four houses, nine vehicles, ten horses, and even a jaguar have also been seized.
The operations have taken place in Cintalapa and Jiquipilas, in the state of Chiapas in southeastern Mexico, for which a Black Hawk helicopter was used.
Juan Manuel Valdovinos Mendoza, “El Señor de los Caballos,” has been a target of military intelligence and the National Guard for more than a decade. Despite this, he has managed to evade capture through a network of informants, rural safe houses, and political protection. His name has appeared in files linking him to cells of the Sinaloa Cartel (CDS) and, more recently, to factions of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) seeking to expand in the region.
