He has worked in newspapers, web, magazines and public relations. Previously, he spent four years as the Metro Editor for La Opinion, the largest daily Spanish newspaper in the West Coast. Before that, he was a reporter and Metro Editor for Hoy Newspaper, a Spanish weekly in Los Angeles.
