The scandal sparked by the arrest in Bolivia of Argentine publicist Fernando Cerimedo—accused of masterminding the attempted femicide of his ex-partner, lawyer Nadia Beller—hit Javier Milei’s government like a missile. This was due to the direct link between the administration and the detainee, as well as local investigations implicating illegal far-right networks in the region; these investigations have highlighted specific names and companies used to install presidents aligned with the United States and Israel across Latin America.

Cerimedo—who once boasted of orchestrating a ferocious campaign built on fake news, lies, and manipulation, flooding media and social networks and mobilizing troll armies to destroy the Peronist opposition in Argentina and install Milei—must now face rigorous scrutiny from local journalists and legal experts. They have secured irrefutable evidence of a mafia-like power structure that took on the task of “exterminating” democratic and grassroots movements throughout the region.

Months ago, former President Evo Morales and Bolivia’s leading trade unionists raised the alarm regarding a public invitation extended by the government of Bolivian leader Rodrigo Paz Zamora to Argentina’s Minister of Deregulation, Federico Sturzenegger—a figure widely reviled there for his role in dismantling the national state. They denounced Cerimedo’s dangerous, pivotal role and warned of the influence exerted over security and armed forces, as well as the destruction of the achievements made during the years the Movement Toward Socialism (MAS) was in power.

Accusations were also leveled that the Argentine government had sent supplies and equipment to suppress protests by the Bolivian people, and—even more seriously—had devised a plan to arrest or assassinate Morales and combat “terrorism,” a term used to refer to trade unions and social organizations. Brazil and Honduras
Details have also emerged regarding actions taken not only to “destroy” Brazil’s current president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, but also to bring Jair Bolsonaro to power; he is identified as a key factor in the attempted coup against the Brazilian leader and the violence used to try to enforce a narrative of “fraud”—an attempt that ultimately failed.

Similarly, beyond his involvement in the 2019 ousting of Evo Morales in Bolivia, Cerimedo boasted of having “removed” former Honduran President Manuel Zelaya from office (2009) and of installing that country’s current right-wing government by alleging—falsely—that former President Xiomara Castro had committed “fraud” in the latest elections. He blocked a genuine vote count, employing deceptive tactics that extended to Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and elsewhere.

Milei’s consultant and advisor owns several companies; notable among them is Numen Publicidad y Sondeos, which holds an outstanding debt of 79.4 million Argentine pesos (53,000 dollars) with Banco Galicia—a debt classified as “unrecoverable” according to the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic’s (BCRA) debtor registry.

Another of Cerimedo’s parallel companies owes eight million pesos (5,343 dollars) to Banco Galicia and Banco Macro, and the same applies to Academia Numen Publicidad—also owned by Cerimedo—with all these entities carrying unrecoverable debts.

However, the most significant allegation concerns his long-standing affiliation with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and his ties to other foreign intelligence services. Analysts highlight his key role in collaborating on plans devised by Donald Trump and his Secretary of State, Marco Rubio—plans aimed at ushering in a new wave of state-sponsored terrorism across the continent and supporting the military occupation that is advancing daily in the region. Furthermore, the publicist is one of the owners of *La Derecha Diario*, a far-right digital media outlet linked to various political communication firms and the methodology of media terrorism—a practice that currently fuels the imposed global censorship.
