Early Saturday morning, two lifeless bodies were hung from the bridge known as “Los Lobos,” located in the municipality of Tepic, Nayarit. Alongside the remains, members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) displayed two *narcomantas* (banners) containing direct threats against the state governor, Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero, and the Attorney General, Elvia Ludmila Heredia Verdugo.

In the message, the criminal group criticizes state authorities for alleged negligence and incompetence in carrying out their public security duties. The text also singles out an official nicknamed “El Gordo” and personnel from the prosecutor’s office, accusing them of manipulating and fabricating case files.

The bottom of the banners listed the names of several individuals—including Juan Carlos, Pity, Luz Pestañas, Fernando, and César—accompanied by explicit warnings that they had been placed on the criminal group’s target list.

Personnel from various security agencies arrived at the scene to cordon off the area and remove the bodies, while forensic experts from the State Attorney General’s Office collected evidence and initiated the corresponding investigations.
