Six men linked to the “Los Deltas” criminal cell—identified as an armed wing of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG)—were arrested during an operation conducted by federal forces this Sunday morning in the municipality of Zapopan, Jalisco.
The operation was led by personnel from the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), and the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), following investigative and intelligence work.
Authorities reported that the raids were carried out simultaneously within the municipality. According to reports, the operation also involved a helicopter flyover of the area, as well as the deployment of numerous Navy and FGR personnel.
