Tania Flores Guerra, former mayor of Múzquiz, in Coahuila, was arrested this Saturday by elements of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Nuevo León in San Pedro Garza García in compliance with an arrest warrant against her.
The Nuevo León Prosecutor’s Office reported that his arrest was carried out by detectives from the State Investigation Agency (AEI), in collaboration with the investigative authority of Coahuila for the crimes of embezzlement and abusive exercise of functions.
According to her arrest record, consulted by this publishing house, Tania Flores Guerra was arrested at 7:00 p.m. this Saturday, July 4, on Batallón de San Patricio Street in the San Agustín neighborhood.
The former mayor was wearing a black blouse, beige pants and shoes when she was arrested by Nuevo León authorities.
