Emma Coronel Aispuro turned 37 on July 2, 2026. Since her release in September 2023, Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán’s wife has maintained a steadily growing media profile. In the last year alone, she starred in her own documentary, announced a narco-series starring Rafael Amaya, and sought early release from her parole.
Unlike her previous birthdays—the 2024 celebration at Hacienda El Patrón in Carolina, Puerto Rico, with Tito El Bambino as the guest performer; and the 2025 celebration documented at sea with bikinis and a jet ski—this year Coronel Aispuro remained silent about her personal celebration and simply shared the congratulatory messages she received.
Among those who congratulated her was her sister, Claudia Coronel, who shared a photo of the now-model in a snowy landscape wearing a fur coat and sunglasses: “Although we can’t hug today, distance separates our paths but never our love. Have an amazing day!” it read.
Meanwhile, designer April Black Diamond dedicated two stories to her. In the first, she shared a video of Coronel’s appearance on the Times Square screens during Milan Fashion Week. In the second, she posted images from the runway show where Coronel wore a white wedding dress: “Happy Birthday, Queen.”
